Hi Everybear, hope you are having a wonderful week.

Here is another of Mom's punch needle project (a Doreen Frost pattern).  Mom is thinking of mounting it on an old piece of barn wood.

kit.  Also, They are having a fun Halloween Spooky week with lots of wonderful surprises, recipes and giveaways.
My guy still needs his wool felt background and then mounted on old barn wood.

 We have a wonderful hardware store in Asheville, it's more a woodworking place, but they sell all kinds of neat tools.  The place is rustic, worn hardwood flooring, tons of pieces of old wood, a few completed pieces, i.e. a table, dining table,I'll do a post with some pictures the next time we are there.

A Halloween Finish

Well, I'm all ready and waiting!

Here is Mom's latest finish, she belongs to

Notforgotten Farm's Primitive Punch Needle Club 

and this was our first project.  Isn't it cute?
It says "Merrie October 31st"
Mom mounted it on a pumpkin shaped hornbook which she painted and then stained.

Why I have been so quiet....

Busy, busy, busy... I have been working on this

a gift for my neighbor's Mom, celebrating a birthday.  Crew is "Grandmom's" grandpuppy and they are so in love with each other.  So, I took a Doreen Frost pattern and a photo of Crew and punched his picture.  I mounted it on a cigar box (neighbors have a tobacco shop) and Elaine punched the last few stitches of the background.  Now it is a work by family and friend.

Hello, there's nobody around to do a post this week.  Prudence is at camp, LuLu & Flora are visiting with relatives (oh mercy), Vlad is off soaring with his vulture friends, Mom is off working on Etsy additions.

Goody Andover will be making her Etsy appearance soon.

Little Lamb Bea pull toy

Hi everybeary.  Not much going on here and sometimes that is a good thing.  Mom is working on punch needle right now, a little prezzie for Miss Carol over at

Buttermilk Creek Farm

It's going to be a little door pocket.

We are teahcing ourselves how to make a bullion knot.

A few other things on the work bench but that is for another day.  Speaking of days...I wish you a bee-u-tee-ful day with an overload of love and sunshine.
