Jessie & her "Sucky Baby"

We don't know how this began but shortly after we adopted Jessica (Jessie for short) she was rummaging in their toy box.  M&D had bought this moose for Molly Brown but it was a bit too big and Molly is so shy that she never touched it.  Enter Jessie...

One day Jessie pulled Moose out of the box and began sucking on it.  We never could figure out why but she is very quiet and content with "Baby", yes we changed its name and she knows her by that name.

Jessie never forgets where she left Baby and she will not bring her to you or play rough with her.  When Baby gets really nasty we throw her in the washing machine - so far they can withstand 2 washes before having to be replaced.  Mom counted and we think this is Baby #12.  We always have one in reserve, just in case...and when M&D come home from being out the girls are always waiting, they have their "hoopla", get a doggy treat and then Jessie runs to get Baby.  She doesn't bring her to them but jumps up in the chair and starts sucking.  Molly Brown wants more attention and then a good butt rub - this is the routine.
