It's Funny Friday
 RIZZO THE RAT

Meet Rizzo the Rat. M asked me to be gentle showing you his picture, he is scary looking.  So I decided that Sissy & I would show you Rizzo together, call it a family photo, hahahahahaha.  He looks just like Sissy (o:

This is funny - a few years ago M went to get the mail (mailboxes are at the top of the driveways here) and as she opened the box this black, scary thing just sort of moved forward.  You could hear M back in New Jersey.  Then she looked around to see if anybody saw her jump back 60 feet from the mailbox.  We never knew "who" but we suspect if was Miss Mary across the road.

Mom was so annoyed that somebody played a trick on her (it was just before Halloween)

and she decided to get even.  Poor, unsuspecting Dad was the target.

Back into the mailbox Rizzo went, just enough so that he would jump out, again.  And we waited for Dad to come home.  Mom went out and was limping a little (such a drama queen) and asked Dad if he could walk up the driveway to fetch the mail.  He was all worried and concerned about M, "oh I just over did on my run this morning" she managed to get out.  (She is good.)

Oh, that poor man.  He opened the door, flew back and yelled.  He ended up about 10' from the mailbox, honest.  Well, Mom could not breathe because she was laughing so hard.  She actually sat down in the driveway and was crying OUT LOUD.  And then it got better.  Dad gathered up his stressed wits, took Rizzo, OMG (oh my gosh), got the mail and walked down the driveway saying "it was Mary, I just know it", he never even thought M did it.  Well, by now M's face was purple and she was struggling to breathe.  Could it get any better than that?  NO.  And, to this day - he does not know.

Life is interesting here... (o:

  2. Oh Miss Tabitha,

I really don't think he knows....he surely would have "gotten even", giggle. He only reads here if M asks him to proof a posting.

  3. Aww, poor Sissy looks nothing like Rizzo! But we're quite sad we don't have mailbozes here, that would have been so much fun to try!

  14. Miss Mona,

YOU - have a dark side? I don't think so. Now me, well that is a whole different story. I have to keep up my appearance - cranky, mean to Sissy, not so nice to M and a teller of funny family stories that should not be told. Now that is a DARK SIDE.
