A Mountain Autumn

It's Funny Friday
by Prudence

Good morning friends, it's a bee-u-tee-ful fall morning up here at The TreeTop House.  Leaves are swirling about, we aren't able to see across the field, or see the church steeple, but it won't be long now.
I have never seen a true autumn before, I was born in Pleasanton, CA but M&D said I am in for a real treat.
"Hey LuLu, what's so special about leaves?"
"I dunno, Flora, they fall off the trees, make a big mess everywhere, what's to like?"

Please excuse those two twits, they
figured out how to climb up to my "puter" and now I have to put up with their never ending annoying ways.

Let's look at some pictures
Mom helped me take these pictures from up on our driveway.  Today Dad is taking us on the Blue Ridge Parkway to see the autumn colors so maybe next week I will have more pictures to show you.
We are up quite high but we aren't at the highest point in our neighborhood - but close.  Mom says it does take a bit of getting use to living in the mountains but we are beary happy here.
Heaps of Hugs
Have a wonderful autumn weekend.

Love,
Prudence

  2. Hi Prudence, You sure have pretty trees and colourful leaves. My Granny would just love it there. She raves about Autumn colour.. Don't forget to take photos of your drive up the mountain even more.
D\You are so high do you ever think you will fall off?
Granny is running behind because we had a big doll and bear show this weekend. Oh well... I will have to wait until Monday to post.

  4. LT says she was reading a article recently about how leaves turn different colours around the world, so everyone gets a different autumn. We don't know what she's wittering on about though, they go green, yellow, brown and fall off, what more is there?!

  5. Dear Prudence,
What a beautiful view! Are your ears popping from that high altitude?:) A little birdie told me that you have a crush on an Aussie bear. I didn't know there were bears in Australia!!
