Biltmore Gardens

It's Funny Friday
by Prudence
The main greenhouse with two adjoining smaller greenhouses on each side.
Last Friday we went to Biltmore Estate and Mom wanted to visit the gardens, and what "eye candy" with the yellow and orange mums bursting with color.  The purple mums were just beginning to bloom, I wonder if they stagger the planting so there is always color, my guess is yes.  The little pansies (happy faces) were very young but those little sweeties were blooming.
Let's just say it with pictures.....

  1. The little mice are so very sweet. I need to get busy sewing some Christmas critters! LOVE your photos of the Biltmore flower garden! The mums are always gorgeous and they will take those out of the ground and put something else in later. In the Spring, the gardens will be filled with tulips. It's always a feast for the eyes! Enjoy your weekend! Hugs, Diane and dollies and bears

  2. Those gardens are food for the soul. Are those little purple mounds chrysanthemums. They look as though they are covered with flowers.
I'm so glad you had time to breath in the beauty,
