The Book

It's Funny Friday

 Here it is.........the sacred book, no, not a book, THE BOOK.  Let's back up......remember "The Devil Wears Prada", the mock up book that was so sacred, it was delivered to Meryl Streep each evening?  Got it?  Okay, well we have one of those books too.

It's Mom's book of her ideas for whimsical animals, fabrics, even her patterns are traced on the pages.  I'm the only one who knows where it is at all times, what's in it, I can jot notes down, so it's always in a safe, hiding place when me 'n Mom are away from our craft room.

"Psst, hey Flora....."

"What, dribble nose?"

"Hey, I gots this a'ful cood from the big P, so don't make fun of me."

"Yeah, she got to go to Biltmore and got a prezzie - we stayed home."

"Oh, the 'i-ron-ee', we found the "book"

"Look!, that's a new pattern for, looks like a bunny, sorta....."

"Hmm, Mom's idea of what a bunny looks like is distorted.'

"Pretty big word coming from you, dim wit."

"Shut up LuLu."

"Well, shut the front door, it's a wabbit."

But, the front door isn't open, stupid!

"And you have the nerve to call ME stupid?"

"Huh?"

"Let's get outta here, they're comin' upstairs."

Last evening we went to the Biltmore Christmas Candlelight Tour so we will have pictures next Friday.  It was bee-u-tee-ful.
