Biltmore Winery

It's Christmas Friday
by Prudence

Hi everybeary, tired?  I am.  But I have a few last minute pictures to show you.  A few days before Christmas Mom had to get her allergy shots, since it's only a few minutes further to Biltmore Estate they decided to go to the winery and then The Gate House Gift Shop (Mom had a 25% off coupon).
As they were walking up to the restaurant and winery a sweet little Mockingbird decided to sit on top of the wine barrel.
Antler Village & Winery

A little bit of history.  Cedric was the Vanderbilt's pet St. Bernard.
I love this statue of Cornelia and Cedric.

 Christmas Morning

And I'll wrap this post up with #11.  Now that doesn't count all the little trees scattered all over the place.  Monday I am calling CDA (Christmas Decorating Anonymous), Mom needs help.

  1. It's such a beautiful time of year to be in the mountains! I love the Biltmore and have a photo of 'me' standing in front of that wagon when it was filled with pumpkins. You sure took a Christmas card photo with the bird! Enjoy your day sweet friend! Hugs, Diane and dollies AND bears

  5. Dear Prudence,
Why oh why does your mom get to have all of the fun? I mean, does she ever include you in her outings? I think they allow bears at Biltmore:) And yes, your mom needs to sign up for Christmas Tree Addicts Anonymous, for sure!!!
