Blue Ridge Parkway
Hi, it's me Prudence and I have a few lovely pictures to share of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
As we climbed I took pictures of the elevation markers - and the best will be the last, Mount Mitchel.
But here are a few as we traveled the parkway:
One of two tunnels we drove through, Mom and I were in the second row taking pictures out the side window. Aunt Kathy rode up front with Dad.
Here we are at 3690 feet.
Hope you enjoyed the little picture show, more to come next week.
Happy Weekend.

Wow ! That is so high....3690 ft. I had to check if I was reading that right.Wait...I'm so ridiculous, after checking it three times,I read it wrong,Gram is getting a little too old.I thought it was 36,000 feet. I love going to the Mountains where all the wonderful BEARS live.-OX Grandma Denise

Hello Prudence, Wil here, how are you, girl?
ReplyDeleteLovely photos. Mama Bear is going up to the Blue Ridge Mountains in a week or so, hope she takes me along. Do you know she has 2 of our bear family in her car for all her trips, time to take turns I say.
