Camp Good Bear


Hi,  It's me....PRUDENCE!
It's Funny Friday

Boy, am I havin' fun.  We are so busy, we have arts & crafts 2 afternoons a week, and a campfire every night.  At first I didn't like them, cause the bear-selors tell spooky stories, but I got over it and now I look forward to the stories.  We scream at the scary parts and put our blankies over our heads, and we giggle a lot.

 And then we toast marshmallows - boy is that fun.  The bear-selors let us put the marshmallows on our stick but they have to help us toast them.  They say that the campfire is hot and we have to be beary careful.  Boy those things are tasty.  But they stick to our fur and we sorta get icky, sticky.  (o:

I've made a lot of new friends and we are going to have sleep overs when we all get home.  I'm gonna have the first one......of course Flora & LuLu will be invited.  I think Dad will help us toast marshmallows on the bar-b.

We are havin' so much fun.  At first we were a wee bit bearhome sick, but everybeary was, so we all helped each other.  It didn't last long.  We do miss you bunches, and she told us that we have lots of new friends who follow our stories and that is beary exciting.  And we have a giveaway, we will miss that but we have put LuLu & Flora in charge.  That should be a blast.  (o:
Oh, I almost forgot...next month is "bearents" day at Camp Good Bear & LuLu & Flora are so excited that when we tell them about all the fun they are going to have they get the hiccups (they are just babies remember).

    It sounds like the girls are having a good time at camp. Did I read that right? Prudence actually gave Mom a compliment? This separation seems to be making that little one more appreciative.

    Hi Maddyrose,

    Prudence & Sissy do miss home but they needed to experience summer camp. They have been invited back next year but they would like to go for just 4 weeks.

    Prudence is interacting with other bears outside of her "hug" and I think it is good for her.

    Oh it looks like they're having lots of fun at camp. At least YOU got photos, the Clan are apparently being camera shy! Willow has been adopted though, so she's getting to go on an even bigger adventure all the way to Germany, I'm sure she'll have an exciting summer there instead. Jack has his bags packed and is ready to head to France, and he says he'll update the blog when he gets back...

    It sounds like Prudence & Sissy are definitely enjoying summer camp and I've always said that roasting marshmallows is the very best part! hehe I loved seeing the pictures of their new friends, how fun is that?! This all makes me remember when I use to go to camp with the Girl Guides when I was 10 years old, how I enjoyed it:-) xoxo
