We can't enter your draw but want to wish all US followers good luck. What a great idea this is to bring attention to the needs of lovely dogs who are in shelters. All the dogs I've ever owned have been rescues and all have been/are wonderful, intelligent animals. The two we have now are rejects from other farms but are very good with stock and people so we can't understand why they weren't wanted. In the past we have always gone to the Royal Society For The Protection of Animals or Battersea Dogs home when we've had space for a new pal. Same with our cats.

ReplyDeleteAdopting from a shelter or rescue is wonderful! My friend Peanut, my wonderful cat came from a rescue. He will be eleven in January. I have enjoyed his company every single day of those eleven years. This is a nice giveaway. Hopefully it will make people more aware that there are so many wonderful dogs and cats who are so deserving of a forever loving home and are just waiting for someone to adopt them.

My daughter and her family just adopted Giada, a young black german shepard mix. She is wonderful and we all love her.
