Main St.

It's Funny Friday
by Prudence

Howdy Doody, hope everyone is well and enjoying Friday.  I just wanted to show you a few pictures of Main Street.  You know, the "say it with pictures" thingy, again.
Town Hall is at the end of Main St.
Looking up Main St. from Town Hall
Jack of Hearts on Main St.  We had lunch here.  The building is the original Weaverville Fire Station, the building next door was the washing station, where the fire trucks were washed.
The Pet Pantry is off Main St. We met the owner and her 2 "store managers".  One was the watcher, an older Rottie, all nestled  on his bed by the window, and the other one was the greeter, a sweet B&W, we think a mix.  The greeter showed us where the treats are that he loves.  Mom picked out two to bring home to Molly & Jessie.  Dad checked to see if they carry the girls doggy food, which they do.  The owner told us if there is anything that we need that they don't have she will get it for us.  We are so excited to get back to small town living.  This is where we really fit in.  Sigh...

  6. Your heart will be full and contented living in a small town. Granny tells stories of when they lived on the farm and had a very tiny town to shop in. She says it is the commmmmunnnity (Don't know what that is, ) that matters. Prudence you will get to know lots of new bears that live there. Hugs Wilbur
