Happy weekend, everybeary.  Later today we're going to Biltmore Estate to take pictures and pick up our Christmas Candlelight Tour tickets.  On the way back Mom has to get her allergy shots.  SHOTS - my mohair curls just thinking about needles.  Today she gets 3 - but now she only goes every other week.  Better her than me.........OUCH!!!
I posted a fun gift giving idea over on The Crafty Corner, Mom has been doing that with friends for several years.  Maybe you would like to take a peek.

Heaps of Hugs

"LuLu?"
"What Flora?"
"I wish they would give Mom 3 zillion needles - big, long ones."
"Ya know Flora, there's  reasons why I don't like you."
"Yeah, name one?"
"Only one, twigs for brains?"

  1. Lovely autumn trees and views! Oh I'd love to visit Biltmore some day.
Poor mom getting all those shots! Take good care of her!

  2. Hi Prudence, you need to get your mum to tell my Granny the name of those lovely purple pink trees. We have Claret Ash tree's that go a lovely purple colour, but they are a different shape. We would sit and drool over your lovely Autumn trees if we lived there.
I hope your Mum does not leek with all those holes poked into her.

  3. It looks very beautiful in the mountains! I know you must be enjoying the cool dry air, too. I hope you went to the Biltmore and took lots of photos to share. I know it's hard to believe but it was cool here today and we hiked this morning. Sweet hugs from the dollies and bears in Florida!

  4. Yup, we definitely don't get red like that here! We don't get allergy shots here either, just lots of tissues and mess...
