How Many?

It's Funny Friday
by Prudence

Happy Thanksgiving, hope you had a wonderful day with family and friends.
It's the normal "frantic" day after (but plenty of leftovers for the weekend), Mom is all wired, shouting orders to me and Dad.  Molly Brown and Jessie are sound asleep on the bed, visions of leftovers dancing in their heads.
Mom did her best decorating last year, we moved here on 11/16 so with the tons of unpacking, Thanksgiving and then Christmas she didn't get all the things done that are her "traditions".  Well, this year it's "full blown out Christmas". Let's see, trees in the den, family room,  dining room, craft room, kitchen, and the laundry room.  How many is that?  Only 6?  Shh...please don't say that to her, PLEASE!
Well, let's begin with the outdoor decorations - okay, you can't see the front of the house from the lane, we live on a mountainside, our "drive by" traffic consists of the bunnies, squirrels and wild turkeys (let's just call it our foot traffic).  Hope they enjoy her effort.  I'll show you those pictures next week.
Okay, so far......"roll that Christmas tree footage"

Oops,  technical difficulties (Mom is being difficult) I am not allowed (e x c u s e  me) to do the "tour" until next week.  Can you tell, Mom is tired and cranky?  Ah, these family traditions.
Dad, Mom NEEDS a turkey sandwich!

Heaps of Hugs
Prudence
Shh....what she doesn't know won't hurt her (giggle).  See ya next week.

  1. Dear Prudence what is it with Mums and Granny"s. When they get too busy it seems as though the world is falling apart for them. I keep saying HI.... see... me... I am still here and want my supper.
Well Prudence it will make us all the more excited to see your trees next week.
    Hugs Wilbur
