Here they are, the baby girls.  That beautiful lantern is solar powered and given to me by my very dear and sweet friend and neighbor, Elaine.  It's so beautiful at night.

Oh well, the Fiber Forum was good but the Wizard, Trolls, and Fairies workshop was a BUST.  Mom knows better, she doesn't like any of the above mentioned, except maybe Tinkerbell, but trolls and wizards are not, even remotely, favorites.

So, his name is Walter, he is in two pieces, a head and a body and he will remain that way until - who knows.  

So she moves on, for the moment we suggested taking a breather, maybe doing a piece or two of applique.

Next week is Good Friday and we don't post on that day, so we will see you in two weeks.

Hi Gang.  Mom is off to felting class and they are making POLAR BEARS!

 Mom is doing a version of "Bad Boys Of The Arctic" by Thomas D. Mangelsen.  I'll have pictures next Friday.  We are calling our piece "Bad Boys Of The North".

Good Morning everybeary, I hope you are having a most bee-u-tee-ful beginning of the day.

Mom finished little Pig-Tunia and we just giggle when we look at her, it's not 'cause she is funny looking but just so darn cute. The class was for a flying pig but Mom wasn't crazy about that idea, but we did stay true to the class, this little baby has nubs on her back, they are where her wings will grow. What do you think?

This Is Bunny, Mom's first project, this class was learning about core, body parts and faces.

Back and Refreshed

It's Funny Friday

Whoa......talk about an empty head - for the stuffing in me I couldn't think of anything to write about and we all know that Mom will NOT let LuLu and Flora write posts, they are just nasty little bears.

Speaking about nasty.....this is nasty when Mom sticks herself.

Mom is off to another felting class, I think she is making a wee, little piggy called "Flying Pig".  She decided not to put wings on her but to give her BIG airplane ears.  I think she will be coming home with piggy half done and then tomorrow will finish her.  I will post pictures next week.

I'll post the bunny she made in her first class and Mad Max Pumpkin Patch - he's a hoot, and he - no, I'll wait to tell you his story next week. 

Mom is working on a snowman applique which will be mounted on the inside of this bee-u-tee-ful cigar box.  Her neighbor, Mr. David, owns a tobacco shop and he brings these to Mom.  Mom has a special surprise not quite in the works for Mr. David and Mrs. Elaine.  First she has to learn the art form, it's fiber art painting and she has a tutorial online and will also take a live class as soon as it is available.
