Lake Good Bear
Here is what we saw as we approached Camp Good Bear, the bears just couldn't wait for their bearents to arrive. They
were waiting for us and as we slowed to make the turn they walked ahead
of the car. They were all so cute, they kept looking back to make sure
we were there. LuLu & Flora were so excited, they were jumping
up and down in their bearcar seats. And when they saw Prudence those little sweethearts started to cry. Me too.
We heard from Prudence this week. She had so much fun meeting all of her friends "bearents" and showing us all around the camp.
The canoe race was so exciting. I can't believe it was a dead even tie, both the girls and the boys crossed the finish line exactly at the same time. Talk about big bearitude and swelled bear heads....yikes.
Right after the race, everybear was hungry, so, what do bears do? EAT!
The Camp Bearselors make these yummy things for them, and boy, are they a mess after eating one, the bears too (giggle).
The list of bears invited back next year was posted last night in the Bear Cub Club House, everybeary has been formally invited back, and they are all so excited. I am sure all the Bearents will be hearing about the invitation to return.
Camp was such a huge success this year that 2 more cabins will be built and there will be a Bear Cub Cabin just for the little ones. It will be a nursery setting, with baby furniture, rocking chairs and cribs. Also planned is a Bear Cub Mom to be in attendance at all times. Oh, and I received a call from camp thanking me for volunteering to be in charge of registration next year. What? Where did that come from? Oh, yeah - PRUDENCE. That little ball of mohair, wait till I see her next week. Okay, I am accepting.
Next Friday we will pack up the little kids and leave for camp to bring Prudence home. I know this year there will be lots of tearful goodbyes, but there also will be excitement and lots of chatter about next year.
And now.....here are the little kids.....
Hi, Everybeary. Oh boy, in 7 days we leave to go and bring Prudence home, we can't wait. We are leaving on Friday so we have to pack our bearcases. Let's see, where is that list we made?

Then Wilbur put on his bathers (in the boys cabin of course) and we went fishin'.
