Sew, It's Monday
A new quilt?
"Let It Snow"

First, we must give credit to Madame Samm of http://sewdollswhosnext.blogspot.com, we are using the word "sew" rather than "so".  Please stop by & visit, her quilts are amazing.

This is going to be a winter quilt, Mom's birthday is February 1 and she is "thinking" about a "Birthday Giveaway".
Dad bought Mom a beautiful pair of Gingher Rotary Cutters but there was no way M could use them, you see, she is left-handed, even worse than that - left sided.  Honest, it's true. So M wanted to return them and see if Jo-Ann's could special order a left handed pair.  To M's surprise they had them in stock.

While she was waiting to be waited on she saw this
fabric and could not resist.  We don't know what we will do with it, she bought a yard, it was just too cute to pass up. So now we have our thinking caps on.

Not much to tell you, it's been quiet and that is a "good thing".  Sissy is very busy being the Office Manager, what she is doing is beyond me, but she is very happy.  And she gets to help M design the new quilt.  I think we have a good working arrangement, I am THE EDITOR, Sissy is the O.M. and Mom is - let's just leave that one alone.

  5. Hey girls, we're so glad you were able to sort your jobs out so that everyone came out equally :o) We love the new quilt, and the extra fabric that also found its way home.

LT's best friend is a leftie, and they were sitting side by side working together today, and even in a tiny space didn't get in each other's way when writing, how cool is that?

Big hugs and sticky, honey covered kisses

  7. Good evening ladies, glad to hear you are settling in to your new responsibilities. I love that fabric with the little houses on, can't wait to see what it gets made up into. My sewing skills are dreadful, it's a major production for me to sew on a button, so I'm in awe of anyone who can create something as amazing as a quilt!

Hugs from me and Little Bear, Nicki, x
