So, Snow?

It's Funny Friday
by Prudence

Wow, it's been a cold week up here in the mountains.  Mom and I were outside (briefly) and saw two little daffodils poking up, now we are worried that they will be okay.  And the Pussy Willows are just so perky, it's amazing that in February they can bud.  Mom told me that when she was little her parents had a huge plant and when the fuzzy's bloomed she thought that if she petted one and talked to it it would become a kitten.  Just leavin' that one alone, but I bet she was cute taking care of that one fuzzy.
The weather this week:
Wednesday afternoon:

Wednesday morning:
Little Pussy Willow encased in ice
Poor little Daffodils
This is our newest baby pine, and he is covered in ice too.
And then...SNOW
View from the back porch.  When I stepped out to take the picture I frightened the birds.

Tuesday Morning 2/17 - ice storm, that's not snow but ice.
Heaps of Hugs,
Prudence

  2. Oh dear Franny is drooling again. she gets quite slobbery some times when she sees beautiful things. She is drooling over your back porch. How beautiful it would be having your cup of tea out there when it is not winter. I hope you are trying out your sled Prudence. I am still reading your card every day.

  8. Hi Prudence and Joyce, So nice to meet you. I found you through my dear friend Donna's blog and wanted to come over to visit. So enjoyed your post. I remember those days of snow and cold growing up in Michigan. I live in Texas now and it's been a bit cold here too mixed with some 70's and 80's along the way. The flowers are popping up and now confused with a cold front on the way this week.
I am your newest follower here. I think we are connect with google plus but I have not been to your blog.
Loved your pics. Have a nice weekend and stay warm.
    Hugs from Texas,
    Celestina Marie (Celeste)

  9. Hi Joyce, thank you for stopping by and your kind comment. It was nice to take a look back at the gardens because today we are covered in ice and nothing is moving. A rare event here in Texas.

Thank you for your new following too.
    Have a great week!
    Hugs, CM
