It's Funny Friday

Howdy, my lovelies.  Boy, do I miss my Prudence but she is having a grand time at camp, and she is very busy with the new little cubs, and planning daily activities.

I have been working on our July ornament and thought you would like to see the picture....

this is the first "pine cone" shape that we have made and it really was rather quick assemble.  Mom ironed each square into the triangle so it was even easier.

It's Funny Friday

It's that time of the year again...summer camp.

Up at 4 this morning, car is packed, checked my list a zillion times, Mom did too, we are all set to roll.....Dad, start the engine.

Goodbye, I'll be back at the end of August.  I will send Mom pictures and she and Vlad can post them.  I will miss you but I love camp and seeing all my friends from around the world.

Going to snuggle in my blankie now, a nice nap so I will be rearin' to go when we get there.

The back of Mom's SUV is PACKED, not an inch to spare, but I need all my clothes, my favorite pillow, and M's laptop so that I can write to her at home.  Mom and Dad will take a little side trip on the way home, a wee little mini vacation for them.  Vlad will help the baby sitter with the puppies and of course - LuLu and Flora.  I sure hope they behave themselves.

"Please don't cry, Daisy Mae, Prudence is coming back home soon.

Next week Mom & Dad are takin' us to Prudence's camp for Bearents Day and we can have a picnic with Prudence and cheer her on at the tube race."

"Oink, sob, hiccup, oink!"

"You're gonna meet all of her friends too!"

"Yup, Wilbur maybe will show you how to use a fishing pole."

It looks like I am just relaxin' and bein' lazy doesn't it?  Nope - I'm thinkin'

It won't be long before I leave for summer camp.  By now everybear should have gotten their welcome letter so bearents can begin planning for the trip up to camp.  It's gonna be so much fun.  Last year the girl cubs vs. the boy cubs had a canoe race and it was a dead even win.

This year the Bearcelors decided they want to join in the fun, soooo they are planning a rubber tube race over at Big Bear Lake - yup, the bears vs. the Bearcelors.  I giggle every time  I think about this - they don't have a paw in the honey jar of a chance.  We are going to beat their hineys. "Prudence!"  Sorry Mom (giggle), we are.

Gettin' Ready For Camp

 Getting ready to make my "to take" list.

It won't be long now, next week this time we will be on the road.  This year is super special bearcause all my bear friends that I blog with will be at camp too.  Finally we will get to meet in person, in bearson (giggle).

 I'm so bearcited, I can hardy type.  Mom, could you please help me?

(We have to do this list while LuLu & Flora are takin' their nap, cause they start crying cause I am going to camp.)
