A Valentine from Wilbur

It's Funny Friday
by Prudence

I kiss my card every night just before going to bed.

Oh my mohair, guess what came in the mail last Saturday?  The most bee-u-tee-ful Valentine's Day card from my sweet Wilbur.  My paws were shaking as I opened the envelope.  The card says "Guess who loves you?"  My heart was pounding and I got the hiccups (I always do when I am excited and surprised).

Wilbur and I have known each other for many years.  Each summer we go to Camp Good Bear and it's always so exciting when I see him standing waiting for me, so handsome, so tanned from the Australia sun, at our big old oak tree.  We have shared our funny stories, take pictures of all our friends, go swimming but I won't go fishing with him.  You see, I'm scared of fish - really.  I think I got that from Mom.

To meet Wilbur here is his address, please tell him that you are a friend of mine.
Wilbur
Just looking at Wilbur's picture makes me weak in my knees.  Isn't he the most handsome teddy bear you have ever seen?  Oh, be still my heart........
Silly Wilbur made me laugh so hard, he was teaching arts and crafts at camp and stuck all those stickers on his face.
We were having a boys vs girls boat race on Lake Big Bear, this is Wilbur building their boat.  They almost won, but at the last minute it was called a tie.
Now you know why I love him so much. ♥♥♥

My Prezzie from Wilbur

It's Funny Friday
by Prudence
Hi Gang!
Look!  A box to "Prudence Clearwater"  all the way from the other side of the world - from Australia.
It's from my Wilbur.
I was so excited, I got giddy and threw the wrapping paper in the air and it landed on my head.  Me 'n Mom laughed and laughed.
and....look what was inside that beary pretty box - a bee-u-tee-ful flower for my head and a snowyman ornie for my Christmas tree.  Wow, I was so beary excited.  And Mom loves and collects pretty Christmas boxes so I gave her this one, she was so happy.
We sat by my Christmas trees and just looked at the flower and snowyman and thought about Wilbur and how much he means to us - especially ME!  You see, I collect snowyman ornies for my big Christmas tree, so this one from Wilbur is so beary special.

Mom posted on Crafty Corner about making her little "prim" tree from an old tree top, maybe you would like to hop over and see what she is doing.

Camp Good Bear Pictures 2015

It's Friday Camp News
by Prudence
Hi Everybeary.
Hope you are enjoying your summer.  We are having a great time at Camp Good Bear, it's so much fun to see camp friends and catch up on stories.
This is Edward, it's his first year at camp and he is so shy.  It's okay, we accept each other just the way we are, and when Edward is ready he will let us take his picture.
On the other hand, the Black Twins are always up to mischief, if not climbing trees they are jumping out from behind one and scaring us.  It's so much fun and most times we pretend that we are scared, it makes them growl with laughter.
This is Gloria Grizzly, she is the Head Bearscelor and keeps everything running smoothly.  Most of the time she is in the office but she loves to come and see what activities we are involved in, her very favorite is honey collecting.  Actually, we never collect much to bring back to camp, but you should see our paws - one BIG sticky mess.  Giggle (that's all I'm sayin').

See you soon.
Hugs
Prudence
and...I couldn't end without a picture of Wilbur
He is giving his talk on safety when we are boating on the lake.
