Good morning my pretties. 

 

I just wanted to fly by and say hello, and that I have missed posting. Mom wasn't able to get up here for a few weeks so I have been taking on the terrible twins, trying to keep them out of trouble. It's hopeless. 

LuLu and Flora are OUT OF CONTROL, they are picking on the new little kids, Violet and Libby, and that is not allowed here, so - I took matters into my own wings and scooped them up and they are now in the tall nut tree, in a "nest" that I built for them, and let me tell you, that shut them up super fast. Oops, Mom doesn't like it when we say "shut up" (sorry Mom), rather that hushed them up PDQ. I am hoping that will teach them to be respectful and kind to the rest of the family (but I won't bet $$$ money on it).

Well, dearies, it's time to fly for a bit before the heavy rain begins. I wish you a lovely day, as lovely as you are to me. I love you

Hi, Happy Friday.  Today I wanted to share our October ornament with you.

The center was the picture of a Sugar Skull, which we had never heard of and it scared LuLu and Flora.

That's Vlad pretending to be the Sugar Skull, and scaring poor little LuLu and Flora to pieces.  So, Mom decided that she would use some of the materials in our Ornament Girls kit and create a new ornie.  She has Halloween fabric and cut out that cut birdie for the center.

The babies love it and have claimed it for their own, all is well in the teddy bear world.

Oh boy, here we go again, it's ornament making time.  So, LuLu & Flora have been super sweet these last few days (they don't fool me, they know exactly what they are doing), and Mom is going to cave in and let them help with the September ornie.

It's Funny Friday

Here is our April ornament, isn't that fabric as cute as a bug's ear (ladybug that is)?

But of course things didn't go smoothly - never in this crazy family.  LuLu and Flora first thought they hid the box that came in the mail - we were on to them....then after me and Mom finished the ornie the two troublemakers wanted the ladybug charm (that was to hang on the ball), so they did what they do best - stole it. - I mean the ornie and the still unattached charm.

 But, again their half brained scheme didn't go off as planned.  Mom liked the charm but thought it was just a smidge large for the ornie, she makes her bows rather small and it just wasn't right......so

I went into our stash of embellishments (I remembered that we had a card with cute ladybug stickers) and surprised Mom by sticking a little bug on the red trim piece.  

Cute, huh?

But, little dummy, Flora decided to wear the charm around her neck, she

couldn't figure out that when we saw her we couldn't guess what happened to it!

Now I ask you?  Little Dummy?  YES!

Ornament Thief

I'll just show you with pictures...they are so busted!  Our April ornament kit arrived on Monday, these two little dummies think they are pulling a fast one on us - NEVER!

"Whoa, LuLu, this is hard work moving the box but it's really going to get back at Mom for always takin' Missy Prissy Pants Prudence's side.  Let's never tell them where the box is, okay?"
"I'm in Flora." 

"I feel lightheaded, LuLu"
"Yeah, so what, you are an air brain, ya know"

But  they think they are getting away with this act of ugliness.....not so, little monsters.
You see, I saw what they did with that box and of course I went straight to Mom.  So, while they were sleeping (no, not a spin off on the movie) me 'n Mom took the box, opened the bottom, took out the kit components, re-taped the box and placed it back under the doll cabinet, and it's still there.
Again, during their nap time we work on the ornie, and oh it's going to be adorable, red/white, black/white polka dots fabric, ladybug, ribbon....I'll show you our ornament next Friday.

Let's continue with the plot to steal Pumpkin Girl.

Mom walked into the family room and saw Pumpkin Girl's pet black bird laying on the floor...

guess who got blamed?

It was a toss, Vlad pointed to Jessie and Jessie just looked so innocent - so the jury blamed

VLAD.  Lurking in the shadows were LuLu & Flora watching closely, waiting for that one moment when Mom left the room.

Then...it got even worse

"Flora, wait, I have always wanted Wendy and now is the time - she is mine!"

"I'm hiding her in the living room, in the piano bench, Mom will never think to look there."

And that is how it ended - for now.  Mom hasn't noticed Pumpkin Girl and Wendy missing but when she does, it will be curtains (and I don't mean the ones hanging on the windows) for those two troublemakers, curtains indeed.

But...did somebody someratty witness the whole thing?

Look, Mom's little Pumpkin Girl,

yeah, they have been friends for years."
"I want her, but Mom won't let us play with her, so here's the plan...
okay, Flora, you climb up on the shelf and get her and toss her to me."
"Hey, do I look dumb?  Why don't you climb up there?"
"Because, glue for brains, I'm the oldest, now get up there."

"Geez, LuLu, I'm killin' myself, I'm too little."

"Are you ready to catch her, LuLu?  Once this baby starts sliding she'll be SPLAT on the floor."

Suddenly Mom walked in and they aborted the plan until later.

Hi Everyone

I am so embarrassed that I can hardly do this post, but Mom wants me to show you so that LuLu and Flora will be em-bear-assed, yeah, bear a_ _ ed.

Their take on (I can hardy even say this) Going Commando.

I think Mom has been pushed far enough with some of those telly commericals.  I mean, what happened to the simple ads, like (okay) bath tissue.  The one with the bears is sorta cute, the early ones weren't graphic, at least we didn't think so.  When did it all go screwy?  I mean, give me a break, we all know about bath tissue, it's been around for hundreds of years?  Yes?  And underwear, we all wear it (well, we bears don't but humans do) it's a fact - you guys wear underwear.  But, oh, NOW it's all different.  You can go "COMMANDO".  Okay, if that's what tickles your fancy so be it - but keep it to yourself.  And good grief, don't make a telly commerical about it!
